West Glam XC – Aberavon Beach

What a brilliant day down on Aberavon Beach for the second race of the West Glam XC. A great way to round off the 2025 season before we kick things off again in January 2026. We had three Port Talbot Harriers teams out there and every one of them ran their hearts out. With 431 athletes on the start line, it was a busy one, but our runners really showed what we’re all about.

A massive thank you to all our athletes for representing the club so well, and an even bigger thanks to everyone behind the scenes marshals, volunteers, referees, timekeepers, race and safety directors. These events don’t happen without you and we really appreciate everything you do.

And of course, thank you to Life To Lens Photography for the fantastic photography. Make sure to keep an eye on his socials for the release of the full album, and please remember to give him credit when using any photos.

International Representation – BMAF Cross Country Championships

Huge congratulations to Ben Williams, who proudly represented Wales at the BMAF Cross Country Championships. Competing at this level is an incredible achievement in itself, and Ben put in a strong, determined performance against some of the best vets athletes in the UK. A fantastic moment for Ben and for the club, we’re all very proud!

Trail Revolution

Huge well done to Jane Harwood, who took on the challenging half marathon distance and absolutely smashed it, securing 3rd in her age category! A fantastic result on a tough course, brilliant effort, Jane. You’re flying at the moment!

Aberaeron 10K

Great running from Andrew Davies, who delivered another strong performance to finish 4th in his age category. And to top things off, he was even presented with a special mat from a local business in recognition of his run, a lovely gesture and well deserved after a solid effort. Awesome work, Andrew. Keep it going!
