The Weekly Roundup
IRONMAN World Championship , Nice
A massive congratulations to Karl Lewis and Peter Malough who took on the Ironman World Championships on the Côte d’Azur this weekend. To even qualify for this event is an incredible achievement, it’s the pinnacle of long-distance triathlon, where the very best in the world come together to race. Karl and Peter battled the tough climbs of the Alpes-Maritimes bike course, the heat of the Mediterranean sun, and the gruelling marathon run to cross the finish line on the famous Promenade des Anglais. An inspirational effort and a performance to be truly proud of well done both! What an incredible achievement !
Swansea Bay 10K
Our penultimate Club Championship race saw some fantastic running on the fast and flat Swansea seafront!
PBs & course PBs smashed. First-time 10K finishers. The weather held off just long enough for the start, but it eventually made its presence felt! Amazing effort from everyone who laced up and took on the challenge.
