GV 70.tri – Aberavon Middle Distance Triathlon
What an incredible event, named after the most incredible person! The atmosphere was electric, the support was fantastic, and seeing so many #TeamPTH athletes — including first-time triathletes — take on the half-distance was truly inspiring.
Huge congratulations to Mikey Davies for taking 1st place overall! Hats off to our Super 8 Relay Team – Cathryn Williams, Hugh Pascoe, and Ffion Davies – for an amazing performance and securing 1st place in a highly competitive field.
A brilliant result too from Shan Castly, Jane Harwood, and Rachel Monks, finishing as 2nd Female Relay Team – what a team effort!
A huge thank you to all the athletes, neighbouring clubs, marshals, volunteers, supporters, and everyone who came along to cheer and capture some incredible photos – you made the day unforgettable.
Pen Y Fan Challenge
Taking on one of the toughest climbs in South Wales, Claire Walters showed real grit and determination to claim 3rd Female overall! A challenging course, unpredictable terrain, and steep climbs – but Claire rose to it all with strength and style. Superb effort and a great result!
Swansea Bay Aquathlon
Well done to all our members who dived into action at the Swansea Bay Aquathlon! A challenging sea swim followed by a fast run along the prom made for a tough race – but #TeamPTH were out in force and thriving. Great efforts all round and brilliant to see the tri team out racing midweek!
