The Weekly Roundup

European Sprint Triathlon Championships

Over the weekend saw Sam Bowring take on the European Sprint Triathlon Championships in Istanbul, proudly flying the flag for #TeamPTH. Competing at this level is no small achievement, and we’re so proud to see one of our own representing the club on the international stage.

Massive well done, Sam all the hard work and dedication that’s gone into your training really shows.  We can’t wait to see what’s next for you!

PTH 1 Mile Championships

Our annual 1 Mile Club Championships took place this week – a little later in the year than normal, but it was well worth the wait! The atmosphere was fantastic, with plenty of friendly competition and support on the sidelines.

Huge credit goes to every single runner who gave it their all over the distance. It was brilliant to see so many strong efforts across the board, and especially nice to welcome members who were tackling the race for the very first time. That’s what these club events are all about – coming together, having a go, and celebrating each other’s achievements.

A huge thank you to our timekeepers, marshals and photographer Life To Lens Photography, who volunteered their time to make sure everything ran smoothly. Without your help behind the scenes, events like this simply wouldn’t happen – so thank you from everyone at the club.
