Activity Wales Events Swansea
A full weekend of fantastic sport started with the Swansea swim on Saturday, featuring 750m, 1.9k, and 3k distances. We saw some fantastic results! This was followed by the Swansea sprint tri on Sunday, where the weather held off for our triathletes. For some, it was their first ever triathlon, and we are so proud of them!

– 3rd in age category for Shan Castly
– 3rd Cathryn Williams signed up on Saturday and by Sunday, she was standing on the podium as the third female!
Irn-Bru
Abigail Simmons took on one of the best marathons the UK has to offer and achieved a fantastic time! Make sure you refuel with lots of Irn-Bru!
SWYD Triathlon, Barry
As part of our multisport championship, the SWYD Sprint Tri took place in Barry. We saw more triathletes, some participating in their first ever triathlon, making us so proud again! We also saw Sam Bowring, who was first in his age group and qualifies to represent Wales at the British Sprint Tri Championships in 2025
Treforest 10K
We saw #teampth on the start line for this fantastic event held by Ponty Roadents. Huge congratulations to Anthony Rabbi on his 10k PB!
