@ironmantri 70.3 World Championships – Mikey Davies took on a stacked field and did absolutely incredible with a time of 04:22:23. Congratulations Mikey, your dedication and discipline paid off.
European Aquabike Championships
European Aquabike Championships – representing @triathlonireland , Ross Hamilton was in action, and took home a fantastic second place in his Age Category! Over the weekend we saw Emma Colwill secretly make her debut for @brittri in the European Aquathlon Championships in Belgium. Paul Bennett also competed, and came a magnificent 4th in his Age Category. Huge congratulations both.
Round the Pier Swim
Round the Pier Swim Round the Pier Swim – A historic race and one of our favourite local events! Hosted by the Aberavon Green Stars, our athletes weren’t put off by the choppy conditions. Well done to everyone who took part, and to Cathryn Williams who took first place as the first female and Wayne Williams came 3rd in TATA Steel Employees.
Severn Bridge Half Marathon
Severn Bridge Half Marathon – Our 6th Running championship race of the year. Congratulations to everyone who took part, some absolutely blistering times you set, with PBs for Paula Morgan, Neil Wilkins and Alun Cox.
Trihard Harriers 5k on the Bay
@trihardharriers 5k on the Bay – our friends @trihardharriers put on a fantastic beach 5k in Swansea. PBs were achieved, pizza and beer was had, and funds were raised for Morgan’s Army & Velindre Cancer Centre.
