World Championships, Ibiza
Following on from a fantastic week of Multisport racing in the World Championships in Ibiza 🇪🇸, we have some more fantastic results to share from our Team GB athletes and our Triathlon Ireland Team Ireland athlete:
Some truly outstanding results:
– Ross Hamilton in the Long Distance Aquabike an incredible 2nd place in his age category
– David Morgan in the long distance triathlon coming in 22nd place
– Ian Williams also in the long distance triathlon had an excellent start but unfortunately ended early with a mechanical issue on the bike.
Steelman Triathlon named Event of the Year 2023
We are absolutely thrilled to once again be named as the @triathloncymru event of the year 2023 for our Steelman Triathlon. We are so proud of this event and the work that Darren Vaughan, the amazing team of volunteers and the support of @tatasteeluk who ensure this event goes ahead and to an incredible standard
Howum 30 Ultra Marathon
A 30 mile challenge into the heartlands of Wales and the source of the River Severn. Tom Rees-Gralton took on this challenge and came away with 10th place! Fantastic effort Tom
5k Time Trial
Last Tuesday saw our 5k TT after another 8 week training block with our fantastic coaches – it was time to see how much our athletes have improved. we can’t wait to see you in new groups in the coming weeks and what you will achieve in the next time trial!
Bynea Road Race
The course was rolling – with no steep hills, but it is hardly flat! A fantastic event and the perfect practice for the jam packed triathlon season ahead.
Welsh Castles Time Trials
Castles Time Trials this week saw the end of our allotted time for our athletes to post their qualifying times. To have 40 of #teampth athletes on the start line in a month’s time gives us goosebumps.
