Barry Island 10k
Run4wales Barry Island 10k – Barrybados lived up to its unofficial name as the weather broke just enough to ensure a dry but very humid race, on the deceptively hilly and fantastic course. It was fantastic to see so many of #teampth on the start line, achieving their goals.
Mumbles Centurion
Mumbles Centurion – The race weekend that offered everything! Some chose the full Centurion challenge, when others chose to concentrate on one discipline in the beautiful Gower. It was great to see everyone who took part enjoy and achieve some brilliant results.
Run4All Neath Summer series
The final race in the Run4allneath Summer Series was held last Wednesday. This is always a fantastic series and loved by our club! We saw some incredible performances yet again, continuing on from the previous races. On the night Ffion Williams won the women’s race, and Jamie Lewis came third overall.
Parkruns
As usual our athletes still managed to squeeze lots of Park Runs in, even if the weather did its best to put everyone off!
In Gnoll we saw: for Sam Figgures and a course PB to go with it! A course PB for Alun Cox, Claudia Lewis and Siobhan Power.
In Maesteg we saw course PBs for Lucy Jones and Tony Spiller
In Bury St Edmunds parkrun we saw Laura Vickery and Any Davies take to the start line
Matthew Edwards visited Barry Island, and in Grangemoor parkrun we saw Jules Jones and Rhian Powell.
