Gwent XC – Fixture 3 at Blaise Castle, Bristol. #teampth went across the border for more mud and hills. Blaise is always a tough one, but our athletes did absolutely fantastic as always even in the icy mist!
Valencia and Lanzarote Half Marathons
Valencia and Lanzarote Half Marathon – Hola España! We definitely had a Spanish feel to our club this week, with two Spanish events on the go!
First up we had Samantha Earle take to Lanzarote Half Marathon, who endured all weather in one race. From gale, rain, sun – all with hills. But she did it and in a great time!
Followed by Valencia Marathon where Darren Lewis and Richard Davies had the weather onside as they flew around the course, achieving fantastic times with both coming under 2:55! Congratulations to you all!
7x7x7 Ultra Marathon Challenge
On Saturday morning we went and supported the exceptional Kevin Sinfield on his 7x7x7 ultra marathon challenge to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease! Good luck and thank you Kev!
John Davies receives Meritorious Award from Welsh Athletics
@welshathletics recognised all the hard and fantastic work our trustee and club president John Davies has given not just to our club but to the sport. John has been awarded the prestigious Meritorious Award. Congratulations John, we cannot thank you enough for all you have done for our sport.
