Continuing the Ultras for Port Talbot Harriers, Evan Smith took on the Beacons Way 100k hosted by GB Ultras. A 100k course with 14,000ft of elevation, this course is hilly as it is brutal. Starting in Talybont-on-Usk, the race goes over Pen-Y-Fan and into the black mountains, the weather soon turned atrocious with heavy wind, heavy rain and mist during the night. Evan did not complete the course in time due to UTMB regulations however he has completed the course.
